  • Stop by any of our centres for a tour, to learn about our program and routines, and to meet our friendly educators.
  • You can also submit a wait list form online. Simply go to the wait list section on the homepage, select the centre of your choice and fill in the required details. You will be contacted via email or phone within 72 hours and given further information on whether or not there are vacancies that suit your needs.
  • In order to secure your position, a $200 bond and a $100 enrolment fee must be paid prior to you starting.
  • The $200 bond is refundable when you leave the centre.
  • We understand that for some children who join The Kinder Garden, it may be their first experience away from home, and they may feel uncertain about starting a new experience in a new environment. As all children are unique, so too are their settling in patterns. We are happy to meet your child’s individual needs and provide orientation strategies designed for you and your child.
  • Parents are encouraged to bring their child for an hour or so, as many times as they feel comfortable, to allow their child to settle in.
  • To ensure the highest standards of care, we pay the utmost attention to employing qualified and experienced educators who share our philosophy and ideas of working together to create a warm, loving and secure environment for children to learn and grow.
  • As per regulations 125-135, each of our services have made sure that at least 50% of our Educators are an approved Diploma level education and care qualification, or actively working towards.

  • 2 – 3 years: 1 adult to 5 children
  • 3 – 5 years: 1 adult to 10 children

We welcome our parents to visit the centre at any time throughout the day. Your contribution to the daily activities is highly valued. We encourage parents to participate in theme and celebration days, or even to come in and share a skill or interest, cultural or work experience with the children

If your child becomes unwell, we will contact you immediately and you may be required to pick up your child. We are committed to providing and maintaining a healthy environment, so please avoid sending your child to the centre if they are unwell.

  • We believe children learn through exploration and stimulating experiences, and our play based programs offer a wide range of carefully planned activities based on each individual child’s needs and interests. 
  • Activities are planned daily and displayed in each room.
  • Depending on the service, our centre chef will prepare nutritious and delicious meals on site or Kids Gourmet Food will deliver fresh meals daily. All Meals include the vitamins and nutrients needed for an active, fun-filled day.
  • All meals are prepared to the highest standards of hygiene.
  • Menus are four or six weekly rotating, and are changed seasonally.
  • Menus are displayed on the notice board in the foyer or on the kitchen door.
  • Parents’ input is appreciated.
  • We cater for religious, cultural, allergy and special dietary requirements.
  • Breakfast, morning tea, a hot lunch, afternoon tea and evening snacks are provided.
  • Our educators ensure that meal times are enjoyable and an opportunity for positive interaction.
  • We are open 51 weeks in a calendar year, Monday to Friday and closed only during Public Holidays and the week over Christmas.

  • Public Holidays are charged, except if they fall in the week that we are closed over Christmas. This week is not charged.

  • Holidays are charged. If you are away long period of time, a 50% discount will apply after the first six weeks.

  • The Child Care Subsidy is a government program that aims to assist families with childcare fees. 
  • CCS has replaced the Child Care benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR) to create a simple and more efficient subsidy.
  • This funding is paid directly to us, to reduce the fees you pay.

You may be eligible if you or your partner;

  • Care for your child at least 2 nights per fortnight, or have 14% care.
  • Are liable for fees for care provided at an approved child care service.
  • Meet the residency rules.
  • Your child must also meet both of these meets all immunisation requirements.

  • To claim online, you need a myGov account linked to Centrelink.
  • If you don’t have a myGov account or a Centrelink online account you’ll need to set them up.

  • To work out how much Child Care Subsidy you’re eligible for, the following is taken into account:
  • Your family’s income
  • The hourly rate cap based on the type of approved child care you use and your child’s age.
  • The hours of activity you and your partner do.
