About The Kinder Garden

The Kinder Garden is a family owned and run long day care service, with locations in Bossley Park (in the grounds of Club Marconi), Engadine, Hill Top, Menai (in the grounds of Club Central) and Renwick (MIttagong).

The Approved Providers, Martyn and Helena Downs, have run and established a number of child care services since 1992.

At The Kinder Garden, we understand the need to cater for all families, including the working parent. Our services cover all ages groups and specialise in creating a comfortable, caring environment for each age group individually.

We believe that quality childcare is a vital element in giving Australian children the best possible start in life. This is why we employ passionate and dedicated Educators that provide the children with the much needed education that is required in the early learning years to become confident learners.

Our Philosophy

We, the Early Childhood Educators of The Kinder Garden, will be recognised for our professionalism, our dedication and commitment to provide our 0-5 year old children with an environment that is:

Happy, Warm and Friendly      Creative, Fun and Exciting      Challenging and Stimulating

Supervised, Safe and Secure           Hygienic and Healthy            Loving, Caring and Respectful

We Believe:

Philosophy Part One – Our Children

Philosophy Part Two – Our Families and Educators

Philosophy Part Three – Our Program, Our Environment, Our Community

Policies and Procedures 2018

At The Kinder Garden, we have a number of policies and procedures in place to ensure the smooth and effective running of each of our services. These policies help us to ensure that each child’s health, safety and wellbeing are our number one priority. We invite our families, educators and the community to regularly read and provide us with feedback of each of our policies. As we review our number of policies each month, we will continue to upload them to this space. Click on the link to view each policy
